Ahuntsic – Cartierville
Ahunstic-Cartierville was one of the first parts of the island to be inhabited by Europeans. Bordered by the Rivière des Prairies, the borough has an enviable location, with fabulous riverfront properties. The streets between Henri-Bourassa and Gouin boulevards are lined with the complete range of Montreal housing types: heritage homes, 1960s bungalows, duplexes, triplexes and apartment buildings. There’s something for everyone!
The borough, with its many green spaces, is a magnet for visitors. Parc de la Visitation is especially enjoyed by families. Sports enthusiasts are not deprived either, with swimming pools, ice rinks and sports centres dotted throughout the borough. And how many urban centres have Olympic amenities like the Complexe sportif Claude-Robillard? Peace and quality of life are guaranteed.
